Nox Chat is a full replacement for the default FiveM chat. We built it because every server we played on had the same boring chat box. It comes with a clean modern theme and a SA-MP style theme, and every player can switch between them in their own settings. Works on ESX, QBCore, QBOX and Standalone.

⚙️ Player settings

Every player can change these for themselves, and it's all saved to the database:

• Theme: Nox or SA-MP
• Accent color
• Window and text size
• Fade or hide mode
• Typing sound on/off and volume

🎭 Roleplay commands

• /me and /do with 3D text above the player. If they're wearing a mask, the name is hidden.
• /ame and /ado for anonymous actions without a mask
• /fme and /fdo so admins can force an emote on a player
• Add your own /me and /do variants (whisper, shout, env...) in custom_medo.lua
• /dice with an animated roll over the player's head
• Job chat, private messages, admin chat and reports
• Announcements and stream mode for admins

🛠️ Config

Everything is in shared/config.lua: commands, permissions, ranges, player defaults, webhooks. Locale files are open too, so you can edit the texts or add your own language. You never have to touch an encrypted file.

• Replaces the default chat resource, so your other scripts keep sending messages like before (chat:addMessage, chat:addSuggestion)

• Languages: English, Turkish, German, Spanish (add more in the open locale files)

❓ FAQ

Will my other scripts still work with it? Yes. It uses the same chat events as the default chat.

Is the SA-MP theme included? Yes, no extra purchase. Each player picks Nox or SA-MP in their own settings.

Can I translate it? Yes. The locale files are open, so you can change any text or add a new language.

Do I need a framework? No, it works standalone too.
